Embroidery & Cross Stitch Cohort for Children
Ages 8 - 12
Tuesdays 5:00p - 5:50p
12 Weeks: September 30 - December 16
Embroidery and cross stitch are more than pretty stitches. They are skills that teach patience, focus, and follow through in a way kids can feel.
Embroidery is the perfect first step into stitch art. It builds fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and the ability to stick with a task from start to finish. The designs are simple enough to keep it fun, but detailed enough to give a real sense of accomplishment.
For older kids (ages 10+), cross stitch introduces a new layer of precision. Counting stitches, keeping patterns aligned, and working methodically all strengthen focus and attention to detail. It is satisfying, structured, and teaches the kind of persistence that applies far beyond a needle and thread.
We work with plant dyed threads and real fabric, not plastic canvas or store bought kits. Kids learn in person, with guidance that meets them where they are, and they leave with a finished piece they are proud of and the skills to keep creating on their own.
Pricing (12 weeks)
We offer a three-tiered pricing model. Choose the level that works best for you:
Supported – $180
Sustaining – $220
Supporting – $250
Each tier covers the same class experience. Please email studio@yourslowseason.com if you’re interested in a scholarship opportunity, or if you’d like to donate to our scholarship fund.
