a place to land
Slow Season is a place to land, to pause, to create. A cozy café, creative workshop space, and makers lounge in the heart of Lockport, NY. We invite you to slow down and reconnect—with your hands, with the seasons, and with a like-minded community of makers and friends.
Slow Season is located at 17 W Main Street in Lockport. Downstairs, you’ll find our coffee and tea house, offering a simple, delicious menu of thoughtfully crafted drinks and charcuterie. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee, herbal teas, and seasonal lattes made with care, designed to complement the cozy, creative atmosphere.
Founded by Sarah Sendlbeck and Stacey Bank, Slow Season was born from a shared love of handwork, artistry, and seasonal living. With deep roots in fiber arts, natural materials, and Waldorf-inspired education, they created a space where people of all ages - children and adults alike - can gather to craft, learn, and find beauty in the slow process of making.
At Slow Season, there’s no rush—just the quiet joy of creating something with your hands, enjoying a warm beverage, and embracing the simple pleasures of the season.
