1. Create your trinket dish

Make a ball with your clay, and then press your thumb in the middle of it. Gently pinch out the edges to create a bowl shape.

2. Make it your own

Shape your dish however you'd like by pinching, curving, or rounding the clay. Once you're happy with the form, smooth away any cracks, fingerprints, or rough edges using a little water and your finger or the orange clay smoothing tool. Don't forget to smooth the outside walls of your dish, too.

hint - use water sparingly - just enough to smooth out your clay

3. Add your embellishments
Using your paintbrush, apply a small amount of sealant to the area where you'd like to add your dried florals or collage elements. Arrange them on your dish, then gently smooth down the edges to ensure everything is securely attached and no pieces are lifting or poking up.

4. Seal

Lightly brush sealant over your dish to give it a soft sheen.

when you’re done with your paintbrush, please place it in the water cup to help us make sure it doesn’t dry up - thank you!

5. Let dry

Carefully transfer your dish to a box and leave it uncovered. Allow it to dry for 1–3 days.
