1. Felt the background

Remember: go STRAIGHT up and down, up and down with the needle (they’re delicate - if bent at all, they will likely break)

The more you poke, the less fluffy the wool will end up.

Lay out wisps of wool to fill the background, and felt it down by poking your needle STRAIGHT up and down, up and down. Remember, you can always layer more on - so don’t load up too much to start with.

2. Felt your first flower

Take wisps of your choice of color for your first flower, loop in half, and felt down the center point. By only felting the center point, you’re creating a 3d look for the flowers.

To create the center of your flower, take a small amount of wool, ball it up, and gently felt it in the center.

3. Add more flowers

Experiment with different flower types!

Take a wisp of wool, gently rub it between your palms to create a longer, thin wisp. Spiral the wool and lay it down flat, gently felt it down.

Add more flowers to create your composition!

3. Add finishing details

When you’re happy with your floral arrangement, use some green to add stems and leaves.

Add whatever accents you’d like to make it uniquely your own!
