Make Your Pumpkin
Roll the orange wool into a ball, tucking the loose edges toward the center as you go. Your pumpkin will shrink as you felt, so start about 30% bigger than you want your finished pumpkin to be.

Start Felting
Place your wool on the felting pad and begin poking it with your felting needle. Keep your needle moving straight up and down to help prevent it from breaking. Turn the pumpkin often and continue felting all around it.

Shape It
Keep felting and turning until you like the size and shape of your pumpkin. Roll it gently between your hands. The wool should feel firm and the fibers should feel secure and locked into place.

Add the Pumpkin Ribs
Using your single felting needle, repeatedly felt along one line from the top of the pumpkin to the bottom. This will create a little indentation. Repeat around the pumpkin to create the ribs.

Make a Leaf
Take a small amount of green wool and flatten it onto your felting pad. Felt both sides until the fibers hold together and you have a thin, flat piece. Trim it into your desired leaf shape, leaving a small tail of wool at the base.

Attach the Leaf
Place the wool tail against the top of your pumpkin and needle felt it directly into the orange wool until the leaf is securely attached.

Add the Stem
Needle felt a small indentation into the very top of your pumpkin, just deep enough for a cinnamon stick to nestle into. Ask a Crafting Café attendant for help with the hot glue gun to secure your cinnamon stick stem.

Finishing Touch
Tie a little piece of raffia around your cinnamon stick stem to make a bow.
