Pull off about a quarter of the light green roving and set it aside. Place the metal circle on your felting pad and fill it with the remaining wool, using thin, even layers.
Begin felting by poking straight up and down with your needle.
Periodically lift and flip your piece to felt both sides. Continue until it feels firm, even, and secure.
Make sure your coaster is firmly felted and even.
Add your “morning dew”

Lightly sprinkle a layer of glitter over the surface.
Secure the top layer
Take the wool you set aside and add a thin layer over the glitter. Felt again to lock everything in place.
Add flowers
Pull off tiny wisps of colorful wool and roll or shape them into small flowers. Place them around the edge of your coaster and gently tack them down with your needle.
Add leaves or additional details as you like, then felt thoroughly to secure.
