FALL & WINTER
CLASSES
Our fall classes are designed to nurture skills through steady, consistent practice.
Rooted in rhythm and repetition, these classes support deep learning and growth over time.
Handwork nourishes both the hands and the heart: building fine motor skills, focus, and confidence and grounding children in purposeful work that brings beauty and rhythm to their day.
Working with natural materials and traditional techniques, we create space for connection, creativity, and care.
KNITTING & CROCHET
CHILDREN’S COHORT
ages 6 - 12
Tuesdays 4:00p - 4:50p
September 30 - December 16
Real skills, real materials, and the joy of making something beautiful with your own two hands. In this cozy, hands-on class, children learn knitting and crochet using soft, plant-dyed wool and cotton, guided by an experienced Waldorf handwork teacher. They leave with a handmade creation they love and the know-how to keep creating for years to come.
EMBROIDERY & CROSS STITCH
CHILDREN’S COHORT
ages 8 - 11
Tuesdays 5:00p - 5:50p
September 30 - December 16
Kids learn real needlework skills with plant dyed threads and quality materials. Embroidery builds coordination and creativity for ages 8 to 9, while cross stitch strengthens precision and focus for ages 10 to 11. They leave with a finished piece they are proud of and the skills to keep creating.
HOMESCHOOLERS FIBER BLOCK
First Friday of the Month
Ages 7-12
A hands on, story filled adventure into the world of natural fibers. Kids get to feel, twist, and work with wool, flax, cotton, silk, and hemp while discovering how people have spun, woven, and dyed for centuries. Best of all, they bring fiber to life by turning it into a finished project they can proudly keep. It is history, creativity, and so much fun all rolled into one.
STORYTELLING
& PUPPETRY
Third Friday of the Month
Ages 8-12
In this one-of-a-kind Waldorf inspired class, children imagine, draft, and write their own play, then bring it to life with handcrafted puppets made from natural fibers. Guided by experienced fiber artists, they create high quality, one-of-a-kind puppets and characters, culminating in a spring performance where their stories shine on stage.
